 Polyurethane (PU)/Polyester Membrane: They form films individually, with moisture passing through this layer by solid diffusion. Generally, they cannot be as thin as when bonded with an ePTFE membrane, so their breathability is compromised, but they are cheaper. Comparedly, nanofiber membranes made using nanospinning technology provide high breathability along with excellent elasticity without requiring much effort in fabric maintenance.
